Asset+ are delighted to have been selected by the Vale of Glamorgan Council to work in partnership to optimise the energy efficiency of its estate. Over the next 8 years the Asset+ team will be improving the energy performance of the Vale of Glamorgan’s assets through measured and verified energy efficiency improvements and decentralised energy generation, reducing emissions and ultimately saving money through guaranteed annual cost savings and income generation.

The Vale of Glamorgan is the southernmost unitary authority in Wales covering an area of 124 square miles with it’s closest neighbours being Cardiff in the east and Bridgend in the west.  The project was secured through the REFIT Cymru framework and covers a vast range of buildings and sites including leisure centres, primary and secondary schools, corporate buildings, visitors’ centres, libraries, adult education centres, family centres special needs day centres and elderly care homes.
