Asset+ are delighted to announce their appointment by North Lanarkshire to design and deliver a comprehensive energy efficiency programme across the regions estate.

North Lanarkshire Council is one of the most densely populated councils in Scotland accounting for 340,000 people over 180km and is situated on the Central Belt. The awarded programme will contribute to delivery against North Lanarkshire Council’s Environmental and Climate Change Policy and its commitment to Net Zero Carbon emissions by 2030 by means of an Energy Performance Contract (EnPC).The EnPC will implement spend-to-save retrofit energy saving opportunities in operational properties that deliver guaranteed ongoing annual energy savings and carbon emission reductions.

The programme will be developed and implemented by Asset+ through the Scottish Government’s Non Domestic Energy Efficiency (NDEE) Framework. This will support North Lanarkshire Council in meeting challenging energy and carbon reduction targets at a local and national level. The NDEE framework is aimed at facilitating the implementation of energy efficiency and decarbonisation within non-domestic buildings in the Scottish public sector

“Really pleased to be supporting North Lanarkshire Council through the NDEE Framework to meet their Net Zero Carbon commitments. Our business mission is to enable organisations to thrive in a Decarbonised, Decentralised and Digitalised future. Our team are already working hard to deliver on this partnership and exceed the commitments we have made to North Lanarkshire, whilst continuing to reinforce our status as the UK’s leading independent energy performance specialist.”
